This is an epic life changing journey and we are honoured that you are walking with us in the footsteps of Brigid, Celtic Goddess and Matron Saint of Ireland and our ancestors.

The full 9 Day Celtic Pilgrimage will be organised and led from the 23rd – 31st July 2022.

You may sign up for ALL 9 days OR you may join us for Day 1 and/or Day 9 with Brigid’s ceremony and ritual.

Accommodation:

We have arranged low cost venues for both along the route and our administration will help you book this smoothly once you sign up. All are low cost but comfortable. Bed & Breakfast is usually about €50.00-€90.00. Accommodation costs are not included in the price below.

Food:

Think in terms of lunch around €5.00 and dinner approx. €15.00-€18.00.

Preparation:

We encourage you to read through the whole website especially the Routes section and Brigid’s Code before paying. We will be organising monthly Zoom calls to answer any questions you may have.

Full 9 Days Pilgrimage 23rd to 31st July 2022

This is where you sign up to walk the full 9 day walking Pilgrimage beginning at Brigid’s birthplace in Faughart, Co. Louth finishing in her Monastic city, Kildare from the 23rd – 31st July 2022.

We are delighted to say that the 2022 Brigid’s Way 9 Day Pilgrimage is BOOKED OUT however we will be opening up the invitation for others to walk with us on Day 1 Faughart to Dundalk and Day 9 Pollardstown Fen to Brigid’s Garden Well (see below).

Join for Day 1 or Day 9 of Brigid’s Way Pilgrimage

Day 1: you join us to walk the first day of the Pilgrimage beginning at Brigid’s birthplace in Faughart, Co. Louth finishing in Dundalk on Saturday 23rd July 2022.

Day 9: you join us to walk the last day of the Pilgrimage beginning at the beautiful Pollardstown Fen walking across the Curragh to Brigid’s monastic city in Kildare town and finishing at her Healing and Garden Wells, Co. Kildare on Sunday 31st July 2022. The meeting point is the Solas Bhríde Centre to park and there will be a bus to the start point (this will be confirmed nearer the time).
